Judge Lester Should Revoke Zimmerman’s Bail for Lying in Court

Judge Lester’s discussion that downplayed Zimmerman’s two prior criminal encounters withthe law, allow Zimmerman’s father, mother, and wife to testify over the phone about his finances and criminal history, grant bail without requesting bank statements and/or mortgage documents to verified if Zimmerman or his family were indigent, and to issue his decision from the bench to release George Zimmerman on $150, 000 after Zimmerman committed perjury minutes before his unjust ruling  when he said he thought Martin was about his age (28 years old) can be attribute to Lester being incompetent and/or bias towards Zimmerman being found not quilty.
In an article  on New Channel 5 website  “Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda asked Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. to increase Zimmerman's $150,000 bond. But the judge said he would delay ruling on the request, in part because he does not know if he has the authority to do so. Lester said he is also concerned about revealing the names of donors. "I'm not going to make a snap decision," Lester said.”   If Lester doesn’t have the authority to increase Zimmerman’s bond who does?  Why didn’t the Assistant Attorney Bernie de la Rionda ask to have Zimmerman’s bond revolt and have him returned to jail immediately?

In order for this case to have the appearance of fairness Judge Lester needs to revolt Zimmerman’s bail and remand him back to a local jail.  Additionally Zimmerman safety and the safety of the community can be better accomplished if he is locked up until the end of his jury trial.

My Reactions to Judge Lester Granting Bail to Zimmerman

On April 20, 2012, I was outraged that Zimmerman was granted bail of $150,000. The first words out of my mouth after Judge Ken Lester issued his order from the bench granting Zimmerman bail after her heard Zimmerman commit perjury in his court room was “Oh my God” which I repeated three times follow by “what a miscarriage of justice.”
I am an educated victim of racial discrimination and the American judiciary system.  Today, I am convinced that justice will be denied by Judge Ken Lester to Trayvon Martin, his family, and all people who demanded the arrest of Martin’s murderer George Zimmerman.

Mitt Romney: Release Your Past Tax Returns Now!

A few days ago Mitt Romney exercised his right and filed a six month extension to file his 2011 tax return. Since Romney has already released his 2010 tax return and if he doesn’t have anything to hide he should release copies of his tax returns for previous tax years of 2005-2009. Releasing additional past tax returns is one of the ways for voters to make an informed decision before casting their votes for or against Mitt Romney on November 6, 2012.

President Obama called on Mitt Romney to release his past tax returns: “I think that it’s important for any candidate in public office to be as transparent as possible, to let people know who we are, what we stand for, and you know, I think that this is just carrying on a tradition that has existed throughout the modern presidency.” I agree with President Obama’s statement.

Beyond Trayvon Martin: A Spoken Word Poet Shares his Thoughts

In an April 10, 2012, article titled “The Trayvon Martin and Tulsa Shootings: The Time for Inaction Is Over” Sharpton wrote in part: “There are some in positions of power that would like nothing more than to make us believe that racism, classism and other inequities don't exist. But they do. And the only way to combat them, and stop our nation from reverting back to days when the Trayvon and Tulsa shootings were the norm, is to have an honest dialogue and most importantly, take action. The worst thing we can do is come together and walk away doing nothing. There is far too much at risk.”
The young spoken word poet is taking action by speaking out about Trayvon's murder.  I am taking action by posting blogs and videos that support President Obama and his vision of equality and justice for all Americans.

What are action(s) are you doing and/or planning on doing to stop our nation from reverting back to days when the Trayvon and Tulsa shootings were the norm?  You can take action by engaging in the political process during the 2012 presidential election. If you can afford it donate money and/or your time working to re-elect President Obama. Even more importantly you must vote on November 6, 2012, and in every local, state, and national election during the rest of your lives. Change won't come easily but it will come if we continue to match, vote, and build on what President Obama started during his first term as this nation's first African-American president.

We Were Warned by Republican Presidential Candidates who Hated "ObamaCare" and Planed to Kill It Dead

The Republicans disapproval of the Affordable Health Care Act hasn't changed since the Health Care debate. The Republican presidential candidates promised to repeal Obamacare.

The Supreme Court upheld most of the provisions in the Affordable Health Care Act and Mitt Romney lost the 2012 Presidential election. Yet as of September 30, 2013, the Republicans won't pass a budget bill unless Obamacare is denied funding or delayed.

Speaker Boehner and Senator Cruz's Obamacare positions is racist and/or an abuse of  power by the GOP to overrule the will voters who elected Barack Obama in 2008/2012 and the thirty million Americans who will finally have health care as a right and not a privilege.
