A Prayer of Protection of President Barack Obama

Updated October 1, 2014 

What many are referencing as a breaches in Secret Service protection of President Obama, must also be viewed in the context of America's racist and violent history. Is it a coincidence that the November 4, 2014, midterms elections will occur 6 years to the day that Senator Obama was elected as this nation's first president? Is it a coincidence that a massive national voter registration and get out the vote (GOTV) drives will achieve the 'CHANGE' that we voted for on November 4, 2008 and November 6, 2012?

Is it a coincidence that the Republicans doesn't have the economy or failed Obamacare narrative that Speaker Boehner told Jay Leno in January 2014, would determine the outcome of the 2014 midterms?  

Additionally, the Republican Party doesn't have a candidate who presents a serious challenge to any 2016 Democratic presidential nominee. That said, I believe that my January 7, 2008, prayer for now President Obama is needed more than ever. 

We must or should pray night and day that God continue to protect President Obama and his wonderful family from all enemies domestic and foreign.

As I completed my assignment from God (writing my book) He placed 2 Chronicles 7:14 in my heart:

I am to declare His words to the world: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (KJV)

It is with an open mind and an obedient and loving heart that I make the above-mentioned declaration to the world and write and post my very own personal prayer. Yes, momma I learned how to pray for myself and to also pray for others.

Jesus you are so Awesome. You are all powerful God. Lord You are the ruler of the universe. You alone are God. You alone rule this world and You God controls our very lives.

Father as a people that loves and adore You we come before You this day to say thank You. LORD, I want to thank You for a praying mother God. Lord I want to thank You for this great opportunity that You have present to me. Lord we thank You for Dr. Boyce Watkins and for giving him the vision for this website.

God thank You for keeping us strong during the difficult times of slavery, segregation, and racial discrimination. Thanks to You Father we survived those unthinkable horrors of our past.

Lord we come before You this day seeking your face Lord, seeking your protection God as we venture into our new political reality. We believe that we will soon witness the manifestations of the promises that you made to Dr. Martin Luther King and our forefathers God. Thank You Lord for the fact that we are living during this time.

Lord God please protect Senator Barack Obama as he matches towards his divine destiny. Lord Father God we praise your Holy Name Jesus. God we know that the enemy comes to seek, to devour, and to destroy. Father God please protect Obama from the people of this world who do the enemy’s works on the earth.

Lord we have seen what the enemy has done in Pakistan and Kenya. Please Lord protect this country from the same type of election turmoil, confusion, and strife that is the current reality of those two countries and in other nations on the earth.

God as You know this country professes to be a God loving and God fearing nation. Father please help those that are called my your name live up to words that they so freely utter daily Lord. Please Father God spare us from the fate and the division caused during the 2000 presidential election.

Please God place it in the hearts and minds of this nation and its people the wisdom and courage to demand and respect an orderly, fair, and impartial political process during this historic election year.
Lord we pray that America will once again be a true example of democracy, love, and peace to the rest of the world.

Lord please forgive us for our sins and our past mistakes. Lord. Forgive us for greed Lord. Please give us the spirit of forgiveness Lord. Let us forgive those who have hurt, harmed, or wounded us Lord.

Please God heal this nation from the hurts and division of the last two presidential elections. Please God let Americans behave as one nation united under God. Father, help us to turn from our wicked ways God. Help us Lord to daily seek your face God.

Jesus we praise you and we glorify your Holy name. You are so Holy Lord. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the Glory. Forever Amen.

Speaker Boehner Must Stop Giving in to Republicans “PREDICTABE DISATEROUS” Demands

1/23/2013, Speaker Boehner called government shutdown a “predictable disaster.” on Jay Leno Show. He also said in July, August, and September 2013, that he told House Republicans that shutting down over Obamacare wouldn’t work. Yet he did it anyway. The cost of the shutdown 20 to 24 billion dollars. President Obama had to cancel an important scheduled trip to Asia.

Late on the night of Sept. 30, with the federal government just hours away from shutting down, House Republicans quietly made a small change to the House rules that blocked a potential avenue for ending the shutdown. With less than two hours to midnight and shutdown, Speaker John Boehner's latest plan emerged. House Republicans would "insist" on their latest spending bill, including the anti-Obamacare provision, and request a conference with the Senate to resolve the two chambers' differences.

Under normal House rules, according to House Democrats, once that bill had been rejected again by the Senate, then any member of the House could have made a motion to vote on the Senate's bill. Such a motion would have been what is called "privileged" and entitled to a vote of the full House. At that point, Democrats say, they could have joined with moderate Republicans in approving the motion and then in passing the clean Senate bill, averting a shutdown. Congressman Jason Chaffetz appears to have played a major role in the planned House rule change to keep government closed. Will Eight Million Obamacare Enrollees Neutralize Senator Cornyn’s Willie Horton Ad?

 Each time I viewed SENATOR John Cornyn's 2014 "Astonishing" primary ad on television I cringed. The ad prominent displayed of President Obama's black face seems to be an attempt to make him look like a criminal and/or a menacing black man.

 I believe that the purpose of the Cornyn's campaign ad is the same as the Willie Horton ads discussed in "The Willie Horton ad revisited 25 years later" post by the Grio. The Willie Horton ad "represented a new low in race-card politics, and the manipulation of white fear of black criminality—and an irrational and visceral hatred of black people in general— to win elections."

I hope that the fact that 8 million Americans signed up for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act aka "Affordable Care Act" "Obamacare" will end Republicans racist political campaign ads. More importantly I hope that Cornyn and the Republicans will stop using images of the president of the United States of America, Mr. Obama, as a menacing figure to energize its supporters.

On June 20, 2012, I watched twenty-three Republicans all who appeared to be white Americans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee vote to recommend that Attorney General Eric Holder, an African-American, be cited for contempt of Congress. Seventeen Democrats five who appeared to be African-Americans voted against the unprecedented measure. Many will argue that this is a legal and/or political matter and nothing more. I believe differently. It was a racist act. Representative Cummings was one of the five African-Americans on the committee. Watching his face as he voted and watched others vote broke my heart. It broke my heart because of the emotional, spiritual, and financial pain that racism caused me as a child and an adult. In my humble opinion many on the "Right" including Joe the host of the Morning Joe Show have a habit of stating opinions as facts. As a STRONG supporter and volunteer of President Obama I have posted tweets to counter Joe and his guests on the Morning Joe Show. I challenged  opinions, lies, and half-truths that relate to politics in general and to President Obama in particular.

My tweets have been respectful and  are usual backed by a third party source like the tweets in this post. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that this poor educated African-American from the State of Florida has been BLOCKED by the Morning Joe Show. What happened to freedom of speech and intelligent political discourse contained in following tweet?

Lawrence O'Donnell Calls Congressman Darrell Issa Actions Towards Cummings Shameful I CALL It RACISM!

Video of Lawrence O'Donnell's thoughtful and insightful explanation that no congressional hearing chairman other than Issa have ever adjourned a hearing without letting anyone else speak or ask a question. The fact that Issa not only didn't let African-American Congressman Cummings make a statement or ask a question but cut off the the microphone of the ranking Democrat is RACISM.

  “Congressman Darrell Issa of California abused his authority and therefore must be reprimanded to ensure the dignity of the House of Representatives is preserved,” Ohio Democratic Rep. and Congressional Black Caucus chair Marcia Fudge wrote. “We urge you to take prompt action to maintain the integrity of this body and remove Mr. Issa as chair of the Oversight & Government Reform Committee immediately.” Issa and Cummings have been at odds for months over the committee’s investigation into improper IRS targeting of conservative groups for review of their tax-exempt status. Groups with other political affiliations were scrutinized as well however, and Issa and other Republicans have for months sought – and failed – to prove that the administration itself directed the IRS scrutiny.


Someone who has a national platform and can't be hurt financially should call out Issa for his racist behavior towards Cummings and his racist agenda towards President Obama. A person that I would suggest is Bill Cosby.

Discussing racism in American should not deem one an unreliable idealistic liberal, a racist, or a race-card playing cry baby. America can no longer afford to silence RACISM discussions. We cannot afford to muffle the truth because racism appears to have gotten worst since this nation elected President Barack Hussein Obama not once but two times.
